Beginning Weight 260lbs – Current Weight 179

When I moved to Trussville in 2017, I was thin, fit, and full of energy. Over time, though, I slowly started gaining weight—five pounds here, five pounds there. At first, it didn’t seem like a big deal. But in 2019, everything changed. I injured both of my feet and spent a year in physical therapy battling excruciating pain anytime I stood for too long. That year of limited mobility took a toll. Before I knew it, I had gained over 100 pounds.

On top of the weight gain, I was now in my late 40s, and losing weight wasn’t as easy as it had been in my 30s. Nothing I tried seemed to work. My doctor diagnosed me with high blood pressure, and I found myself struggling just to keep up with my family. I felt defeated—and knew something had to change.

That’s when I found LetsLose.

After watching some of their videos and doing a little research, I made the call. I was surprised—and relieved—to get an appointment the very next day, and even better, it was in the evening so I didn’t have to miss work.

From day one, the staff and program at LetsLose made all the difference. The weekly check-ins became something I looked forward to—not just for the shots and weigh-ins, but because of people like Landon and Logan. They’re incredibly kind and supportive, always ready to celebrate my wins and help me refocus when things get tough.

So far, I’ve lost 85 pounds. I feel more confident than I have in years. I’m off my blood pressure medication, I can keep up with my family again, and I love taking pictures now. I’m just 10 pounds away from my goal weight—and I know I’ll get there with the continued support of the amazing team at LetsLose.
If you’re struggling like I was, don’t wait. Help is out there—and it really can change your life.
